GROW Ambassador to Uganda
Kenneth Nyiiro Godfrey, affectionately known as “Blessed Kenny,” is the GROW Ambassador to Uganda and has faithfully served alongside Greatness Reached over Oppression through Wisdom (GROWUnitedGlobally) for more than six years. Throughout his partnership with GROW, he has become a respected humanitarian, youth mentor, and community leader dedicated to transforming lives through faith, compassion, and service.
Born and raised in Uganda, Kenneth has devoted his life to uplifting those who have been marginalized by poverty, inequality, and hardship. Guided by his unwavering faith and a heart for humanity, he believes that every individual deserves to be treated with dignity, compassion, and respect. His life reflects GROW’s mission of empowering people to rise above adversity through wisdom, opportunity, and love.
Kenneth is the founder of Born to Serve Singing Ministries, a dynamic youth ministry committed to awakening the gifts and potential within the next generation. Through gospel music, dance, drama, mentorship, and evangelism, he inspires young people to discover purpose while extending hope to those in need. His ministry actively serves orphans, widows, elderly citizens, and families experiencing poverty by providing essential support and organizing charitable outreach that restores hope and brings smiles to countless lives.
As GROW Ambassador to Uganda, Kenneth has played a vital role in expanding GROWUnitedGlobally’s humanitarian mission throughout the country. He has helped coordinate outreach programs that provide food assistance, encourage youth development, support vulnerable families, and create opportunities for lasting change. His servant leadership has made him a trusted advocate for communities seeking hope, stability, and a brighter future.
Kenneth also leads GROW Smiles Uganda, a compassionate outreach initiative dedicated to bringing hope, joy, and practical assistance to children, families, and underserved communities. Through GROW Smiles Uganda, he helps organize community feeding programs, distributes essential supplies, encourages education, supports vulnerable children and the elderly, and mobilizes volunteers to serve those facing difficult circumstances. The initiative reflects GROW’s belief that even the simplest acts of kindness can restore hope and change lives.
One of the most exciting initiatives under Kenneth’s leadership is the GROW Dreams Center, a transformational project that represents hope for the future of Uganda. Envisioned as a center for opportunity and empowerment, the Dreams Center will provide educational support, vocational and life-skills training, youth mentorship, leadership development, humanitarian assistance, feeding programs, and community outreach. It will serve as a place where children, young adults, and families can discover their potential, develop sustainable livelihoods, and build brighter futures for generations to come.
